Nurture, who are we?
Nurture is an egg donor program that assists recipients who are in need of an egg donor. Nurture specialises in finding and matching altruistic donors with a specific recipient in South Africa.
What information do we collect from our clients and why?
Nurture obtains information on recipients and donors from various sources.
Website: When you use our website to complete a registration form or send us a direct query, we collect personal information including your name, address, contact details, and IP address once registration has taken place.
Email: When you contact us directly by email, we collect information such as your name, email address and contact details.
Google/Facebook and Twitter: We use social network sites to assist with communication and user experience. As we do not control those platforms, we recommend you review their cookie policies.
What we do with collected information
Nurture establishes individual donor profiles kept on a secure database, which can be viewed by recipients requiring donated eggs.
Security measures
Our information is stored on a secure database, including the use of cookies. We use cPanel software on the server and host with Hetzner in Germany.
Disclosure to other parties
Recipients and donors provide consent before Nurture discloses personal information to third parties.
Recipient agreement/consent: Intended parents agree that donation details may be shared between the treating doctor or clinic and Nurture for accurate records, while identifying information remains private and confidential.
Donor agreement/consent: Donors consent to donation details and medical or psychological feedback being shared between treating professionals and Nurture for accurate records.
SASREG: Nurture supports the egg donation guidelines and ethics of the Southern African Society of Reproductive Medicine and Gynaecological Endoscopy Regulations.
SASREG approved clinics: When recipients and donors are matched, relevant details are shared with the clinic facilitating treatment.

Nurture uses a third-party WordPress.com platform to manage the website.
Links on the Nurture Website
Nurture's website contains links to other websites. Nurture's privacy policy applies only to Nurture.
Data retention
We retain personal data where there is an ongoing legitimate business need to do so. When no longer required, personal data is deleted or anonymised where possible.
Transferring your information outside South Africa
If you use our services while outside South Africa, your information may be transferred outside South Africa in order to provide those services.
